Baked Penne Pasta

The Baked Penne Pasta served with salad and
cheesy garlic bread

This week, I chose to make a dish for dinner. I love pasta, and wanted to try something different than just spaghetti or the usual pasta meals, so I decided to go for a baked dish. I used penne pasta, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, beef, Hunt's sauce, and some italian seasoning.

First for the recipe, I cooked a package of noodles in boiling water until they were tender, While they were cooking, I mixed together all the cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan) in a bowl with a can of Hunt's four cheese red sauce, and some Italian seasoning to give it more flavor. Then I added in the beef.

Once the pasta was done cooking, I drained it, and then added it to the sauce mixture, mixing until all the noodles were covered. I then poured this mixture into a skillet cooking pan (although I could also have baked it in a pan in the oven), and I topped the whole thing with more cheese, and cooked it at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 30 minutes or until it was baked through, and the noodles got just a little bit crunchy in some places. I also made some cheesy garlic bread by putting a garlic butter spread on some french bread, and topping it with cheese. I served the bread and pasta with some salad on the side.
