This week, I made crepes. They're one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast/dessert/really anytime. The recipe is pretty simple, but it takes a while to make them perfect how you want them.
I needed flour, eggs, milk, water, salt, and butter to make this recipe. I started by using a whisk to combine 2 cups of flour and 4 eggs. Then I slowly added 1 cup each of milk and water to the mix. I added 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 4 Tablespoons of melted butter to the mix, and beat it all together until the mixture was smooth.
After the mix was ready, I heated up on a non-stick pan on the stove and poured a little bit of mix onto the surface. Then I lifted up the pan, and tilted it so the mix got all over the bottom. After it cooked for about 2 minutes, I flipped it with a spatula and cooked it on the other side. Then I repeated this process with the rest of the mix until I used it all.
I served the crepes with nutella, whipped cream, syrup, jam, fruit, powdered sugar, caramel and chocolate syrup, and basically a ton of other toppings people could choose from. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures this time.
